Weekly Update: 200 words
This week in theater I focused on figuring out where I should place my audience in order to allow the audience the full effect of the audio track. I first had my audience sit in the section originally made for the audience and listen to the audio track. Then I had the audience move to the stage and let them hear the audio track there. The consensus was that the audience should not be on stage with me, instead the audience should remain in the section originally made for the audience. This is because the speakers of the blac box are facing outwards from the stage, so the sound projects more. On stage, the sound sounds too muffled because the speakers are not facing the stage.
The downside about this is that it I believe will be harder to overwhelm the audience in regards to the light sensory. My next step is to figure out which lights should face towards the audience and what other lighting effects I can do in order to overwhelm my audience and keep that sensory overload that the audience would of had if on stage with me during the performance.
